Postgraduate Diploma in Commerce in Tourism (PGDipCom in Tourism)
This programme is designed for students who have graduated with a Bachelor's degree (not incorporating Honours) in tourism or a related discipline. It can be completed over two semesters by a full time student or a longer period by a part time student. The programme requires the completion of 8 taught papers which are delivered via a variety of lectures, seminars, tutorials, and fieldtrips. The PGDipCom in tourism enables students to further specialise in tourism and related areas of study and can act as a bridge between undergraduate study and the MTour. There is no independent supervised research (i.e. dissertation) component to the PgDipCom in Tourism.
