Multi-discipline Programmes

The University of Otago offers a range of multi-disciplinary programmes, two of which have a significant business component:

Postgraduate Diploma in Health Informatics - joint programme between the University of Otago's Dunedin School of Medicine and Department of Information Science (School of Business).

Bachelor of Applied Science - every BAppSc programme must include at least 72 points from Commerce subject lists.

Business Majors

A number of majors in business subjects can be completed in other degree programmes:

Bachelor of Arts:

• Economics
• Information Science
• Philosophy, Politics & Economics

Bachelor of Science:

• Economics & Statistics
• Information Science

Bachelor of Consumer and Applied Science approves a number of business subjects as second majors alongside specific BCApSc majors.

Business Minors

Otago students are able to include a minor in a business subject in many Bachelor's degrees; BA, BEdSt, BTheol and BSc. More information on minors.
