Employer Information
In 2009 the University of Otago School of Business launched an Internship Programme designed to give undergraduate students an opportunity to spend six months or one year completing an academic paper whilst in the workforce in paid employment. The Internship Programme provides students with the opportunity to put their learning into practice in the workplace, returning to the University for their final year more focused and clear about their studies and future career goals.
The success of the Internship Programme is highly dependent on the availability of places for students within organisations. In recognition of this the Internship Programme has a commitment to ensuring that the organisations who engage with this initiative have a positive and rewarding experience.
