Short description of research:

The overall aim of this research is to understand how small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) learn about international markets and the internationalisation process. In particular, the research focuses on comparing the learning processes developed by SMEs that followed the ‘incremental’ model of internationalisation with those that followed the born-global approach.
