Donna is a PhD student conducting research on rural tourism. She joined the staff of the Department of Tourism in 2002 as joint Tutor Coordinator and Teaching Assistant. Donna has previously studied psychology and politics and entered tourism at post-graduate level, completing a Post Graduate Diploma and a Master of Tourism.
Particular research interests include Regional Development, Second Home Tourism, Wine Tourism, Heritage Tourism and Community Interaction.
Donna coordinates TOUR 101 and TOUX 101 (Principles and Business of Tourism Management) and TOUR 419 (Tourism and Regional Development). Donna is also the Distance Learning Coordinator for the Department of Tourism.
